Dianne A. Allen, MA, CAP, CTP, LCAS-A is an intuitive mentor, speaker, author, ambassador for the neurodiverse, substance abuse counselor, and life catalyst. A licensed substance abuse professional in Florida and North Carolina, Dianne has served individuals seeking recovery for over four decades. Dianne has been actively involved in mental health and addiction counseling during her career working with adults, teens, and families. Her expertise is in working with intense sensitivities of gifted individuals. She creates exciting and diverse experiences for people to navigate life’s setbacks and allow their unique vision to emerge.

Dianne received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UF in 1979 in Psychology. While attending UF, Dianne was active with the sailing team. Time at UF set the stage for a lifelong, fulfilling career.

She went on to complete a Master of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1988 and she continues to expand her knowledge and expertise through seeking ongoing opportunities to learn, grow, and develop powerful growth strategies.

Dianne inspires people in personal transformation through thought provoking services from speaking and podcasting to individual intuitive mentoring, counseling, and more. She uses her years of experience coupled with years of formal education to blend powerful, practical, and effective strategies and tools for success.

With over four decades of experience in the personal and professional development fields, Dianne has exceled in unique program creation that has made her a forerunner in the substance abuse treatment arena. Featured in media of radio, podcasts, and television including spots on CNN, Dianne has been a voice for the value of recovery.

Dianne hosts the weekly podcast Someone Gets Me that aims to inspire listeners to say yes to their vision through powerful interviews and solo shows stemming from requests and questions being asked by clients, colleagues, and listeners. Topics include neurodiversity, gifted adult experience, intense sensitivities, and other relatable topics.

She has authored several books: How to Quit Anything in 5 Simple Steps - Break the Chains that Bind You, The Loneliness Cure, A Guide to Contentment, 7 Simple Steps to Get Back on Track and Live the Life You Envision, Midlife Suicide – Points to Ponder, Daily Meditations for Visionary Leaders, Hope Realized, Where Do You Fit In?, and Someone Gets Me.

As President of Visions Applied, Dianne dedicates her time and talent to working with people who want to live their heart’s desire as well as expert guidance and support through relational mentoring. Dianne enthusiastically joins with her clients to engage in realizing and living an enhanced life’s vision.
