The Psychology Graduate Student Organization (PGSO) serves as a resource for graduate students as well as undergraduates.
The PGSO supports the continued excellence of graduate studies across the broad range of specialties that constitute the discipline of psychology. One doctoral student serves on the PGSO from each of the five areas in the department: Behavior Analysis, Neurobehavioral and Cognitive Sciences, Counseling, Developmental and Social Psychology. Members of the Board represent their areas in relation to departmental initiatives designed to enhance the quality of graduate training. The PGSO provides input to the Graduate Coordinator regarding critical issues relevant to graduate training, develops a wide variety of initiatives designed to enhance both graduate and undergraduate training, and serves a vital role in graduate student professional development, recruitment, and retention.
