The PGSO consults regularly with the Graduate Coordinator in relation to department policy and planning. To enhance the graduate experience and to support skill-building in undergraduate students, the PGSO sponsors or cosponsors the following events: book fairs, undergraduate poster sessions, career fairs, invited speakers, and a suggestion box for graduate students. See below for details on events occurring this semester.
Undergraduate Research Forum Date Set and Registration Open
The Psychology Graduate Student Organization is excited to again host the annual Undergraduate Research Forum on April, 11th 2019 at 4pm in the psychology building. The goal of the forum is to provide undergraduate students an opportunity to present research in a poster format. The poster session is designed to reflect a typical conference atmosphere where students gain presentation experience. If you are currently working on a Psychology related research project you can submit a poster in the spring. To submit, you will need your poster title, authors on the poster, and a brief abstract (no more than 200 words) when you register via qualtrics. Submissions will be accepted through March 31st and notices of acceptance will be provided within 2-weeks of submission. Please contact Izzy (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
