Dr. Ron Chandler, a Haskell Faculty Award recipient, and Chloe Dill, a UF McNair Scholar, will be launching their study investigating the power of strategic messaging to promote prosocial behavior. Supported by the Bob Graham Center’s grant award and McNair Scholars mentorship, Dr. Chandler and Chloe Dill have sought to gain insights into the effectiveness of different messaging strategies. Informed by communications frameworks and psychological theory, the research team hopes to further understand how environmental perceptions and climate change attitudes can influence sustainable behavior change.
