Kylie Wright (DEV – Ebner) Kylie Wright (Ebner) has been awarded $142,071 by the National Institute on Aging for the PA-23-189 Research Supplement to Promote Diversity in Aging Research. This supplement is part of the parent grant titled “Characterizing & Modulating Neurocognitive Processes of Learning to Trust and Distrust in Aging.” The goal of this supplement is to enhance diversity in aging research. Kylie will receive training to analyze physiological and neuroimaging data to identify the mechanisms underlying trust learning in healthy aging, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other related dementias. Specifically, she will examine how the ability to accurately interpret bodily signals (such as heartbeat) and understand the emotions and intentions of others influences decision-making and trust learning in aging. This funding will protect Kylie’s time for research and enable her to work closely with a team of mentors, including her primary mentor, Dr. Ebner.
