- Jules Sostre received the 2022 LGBT Outstanding Graduate Student Award from APA Division 17
- Gabe Lockett received the 2022 Distinguished Student Contribution award from APA Division 44

- Staci Ouch received the 2022 Barbara A. Kirk Award for Outstanding
Graduate Student Research Award from APA’s Division 17 (Society of Counseling Psychology).
- Stephanie Gonzalez was awarded the Sidney W. & Janet R. Bijou Grant from the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis (SABA) Board ($10,000) to do memory research in behavior analysis.
- Paige Talhelm was awarded a Society for the Experimental Analysis of Behavior Graduate Student Translational Research Grant ($5000).
- Jackie Avila won a $900 “Grants-in-aid” from the
Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) for her project titled “’Vota por mi’: Latinxs’ views of politicians’ appeals as genuine vs. Hispandering.”
- Eva Garcia Ferres won a $1000 “Grants-in-aid” from the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) for her project titled “When we maintain bad systems: Social status, hopelessness, and inaction.”
- Congratulations to undergraduate Meagan Henry who was selected for induction into the prestigious Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society!
- The University of Florida chapter of Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) teams won first and
third place in the Mock Trial Competition against other PAD chapters across the country during PADs annual event from Nov. 3 to 5 in Arlington, Virginia.
- Congratulations to undergraduate psychology major Amy Pezoldt, (advisor: Dr. Marina Klimenko) for receiving the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Travel Award for a research project examining romantic ideals in romantic comedies.

Congratulations to our BCN graduate student Mina Elhamiasl @minalham (Advisor: Lisa Scott) for receiving the Jacquelin Goldman Dissertation Fellowship for 2023-2023! Ms. Elhamiasl’s work will examine the neural correlates or early visual attention during infancy using EEG methods.
- Postdoc Adam Barnas received a Great Teaching Certificate from the Center for Teaching Excellence.

Alexandra Kearns and Amy Pezoldt were accepted into the 2022-23 Scholars Transforming Through Research (STR) Program.
- The poster presented by Faith Kirkland, Ty’Kora Thomas, Vivian Ibañez, and Tim Vollmer entitled “Blending Without Non-removal of the Spoon to Increase Consumption of Puréed Target Foods” won two awards at the meeting of the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, September 2022, one for Best Experimental Analysis and one for Best Overall Poster.
- Dr. Ron Chandler and Chloe Dill were named one of six Haskell Scholars by the Graham Center
