Jesse Dallery, Ph.D., Professor, Licensed Psychologist

Program Director

Dr. Dallery received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University in 1999, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Behavioral Pharmacology. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida, a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Florida, and the Deputy Director of the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health at the Giesel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Dallery’s research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Dallery served as an Associate Editor for The Behavior Analyst, the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and Behavioural Processes. From 2012-2015 he was a University of Florida Research Foundation Professor. In 2014 he was selected as a Teacher of the Year in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Lisa Stedman-Falls, M.A., B.C.B.A.

Clinical Director

Lisa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a doctoral student at the University of Florida. She received her B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience from Portland State University and her M.A. in Behavioral Clinical Psychology from California State University, Northridge. Lisa has experience serving as a behavior technician for individuals with disabilities, as a clinical supervisor, and as a staff training and supervision researcher. In 2014, Lisa received the Julie Vargas Research Award from the California Association of Behavior Analysis for her work using robots as simulated clients. Lisa’s current research interests include the development and evaluation of technology-based interventions to promote behavioral health, as well as addressing barriers that impact treatment access and implementation within applied settings.

David Cox, M.S.B., B.C.B.A.

Director of Research

David received his B.S. degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and graduate degrees in Bioethics and Applied Behavior Analysis from Union Graduate College and the University of North Texas, respectively. He has worked clinically within Applied Behavior Analysis since 2006. David is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida.

Triton Ong, M.A.

Director of IT

Triton completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida, earned a Master’s degree at the University of the Pacific, and is now back at UF working towards a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus in Behavior Analysis. His primary interests are in the teaching, research, and development of technologies for promoting health behavior.

Nicholas Green, M.S., B.C.B.A.

Director of Outreach

Nick focuses on improving the health of others through practice and research. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University (’06) and his M.S. in Organizational Behavior Management from Florida Institute of Technology (’15). Nick’s previous experiences include 5 years of clinical work with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, working within organizations to evaluate and improve processes, and managing and overseeing the training of small teams. His experience and education brings a unique perspective when designing pro-health solutions. Nick’s main focus and research interest is reducing sedentary behavior (too much sitting) in the workplace.

Molly Barlow, B.S.

Molly completed her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where she conducted basic behavioral economics and behavioral pharmacology research with non-human subjects. She also gained clinical experience within the field of Behavior Analysis during her time in Eau Claire. Molly is currently working toward her Ph.D. in the Department of Psychology with a focus on Behavior Analysis at the University of Florida.

Hypatia Bolivar, M.S.

Hypatia received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2012 and her M.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2015. She is currently a doctoral student in the Behavior Analysis area of the Psychology program at the University of Florida. She has several years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and she is currently working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her primary research and clinical interests are in the areas of relapse, health and fitness, and behavioral gerontology.

Sarah Martner, B.S.

Sarah received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Dakota, where she conducted basic behavioral research involving human and non-human subjects and gained clinical experience within Applied Behavior Analysis. She also worked for the Bureau of Educational Services and Applied Research evaluating prescription drug monitoring programs. Upon receiving her B.S., Sarah was the Behavioral Research Coordinator for the College of Nursing, where she worked on a multidisciplinary grant assessing the effects of nutrition on pilots’ flight performance. Currently, Sarah is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida. Her research interests lie in the areas of behavioral economics and behavioral health. Specifically, her work focuses on harnessing technology to develop novel interventions for smoking cessation and physical activity.

Andrea Villegas, B.S.

Andrea received her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Florida with an emphasis in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. During that time she gained research and clinical experience in Applied Behavior Analysis working with individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily Prader-Willi Syndrome. Currently, Andrea is pursuing her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis while working toward developing new technological applications as co-founder of a tech start-up based on behavior analytic interventions.
