BHaT Mission:
Provide high-quality behavior analytic services targeting
pro-health behavior
About BHaT
BHaT is housed in the Behavior Analysis Program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida. Our clinicians and staff are masters and PhD-level graduate students, many of whom are credentialed Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The treatments we provide are based on scientifically-supported principles of behavior which were discovered through decades of controlled laboratory studies and applications to real world settings.
The goals of BHaT are two-fold: (1) to help individuals meet their health goals by using innovative technologies, and (2) provide clinical experience to behavior analysis doctoral students.
What Makes BHaT Unique?
- For the past 16+ years, we have been developing and testing innovative technology-based treatments to promote health behavior.
- We are the first ever behavior analysis clinic to provide remote, technology-based treatments for health behavior. Our interventions are not only effective, they are more time- and cost-efficient.
- By using modern technologies, we are able to deliver our treatments to individuals around the country and eliminate barriers associated with in-person appointments. We are also committed to theory development and evaluation, particularly quantitative models of choice, and are continuing to develop novel methodological frameworks to evaluate technology-based tools.
