Alexandra Kearns and Amy Pezoldt are very excited to participate in the 2022-23 Scholars Transforming Through Research (STR) Program. The STR Program is a competitive application-based professional development and 6-month program, aimed at developing participants’ communication and advocacy skills. Both, Alexandra and Amy are hoping to learn how to communicate the power of the high-impact practices of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative inquiry experience to diverse stakeholder groups. Alexandra and Amy were chosen for their active involvement in research focusing on the effects of social media under the mentorship of Dr. Marina Klimenko.
