The University of Florida Research Foundation has named 35 faculty members as UFRF Professors for 2025, recognizing their outstanding research productivity and potential for future contributions. Since its inception in 1997, the program has honored over 900 faculty members. Recipients are selected based on nominations, personal statements, and evaluations of their recent research achievements, including publications, grants, awards, and intellectual property development. Among this year’s recipients is Timothy Vollmer, who was recognized for his exceptional contributions. UF Research will formally honor the awardees during a fall event.
