Dr. Roberta Seldman Mindful therapist Award – This award recognizes the achievements of the graduate students in the Counseling Psychology program who exemplify the commitment to excellence in therapy.

E. Porter Horne Memorial Scholarship – This Award Was Established As An Everlasting Memorial To Professor E. Porter Horne’s Commitment To The Study Of Psychology. It Is Awarded Annually To An Outstanding Graduate Student Pursuing The Study Of Sensory Processes, Perception, And/Or Cognitive Psychology.

E.F. Malagodi Jr. Memorial Scholarship – Awarded annually to the student in the Behavior Analysis Program who best exemplifies Dr. Malagodi’s dedication to the conceptual, theoretical, and empirical foundations of a science of behavior.

Esteemed Contributors to the Counseling Psychology STAR Fund – The Counseling Psychology Student Training and Research (STAR) was established in 2002 to support the research and professional development training of graduate students in the counseling psychology program within the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida. The students and faculty in the program are honored to recognize the following contributors to the STAR Fund.

Jacquelin Goldman Developmental Research Award – Awarded in support of developmentally-focused research or training in psychology.

Jacquelin Goldman Graduate Student Recurring Scholarship – Awarded in support of developmentally-focused research or training in psychology.

Jacquelin Goldman Graduate Students Scholarship – Awarded in support of developmentally-focused research or training in psychology.

Jacquelin Goldmand Dissertation Fellowship in Developmental Psychology – This award recognizes outstanding doctoral dissertation research with the potential to make a significant contribution to our understanding of development.

Pearson Education Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award – This award recognizes exemplary contributions to the undergraduate teaching mission of the Department of Psychology.

Pioneer Psychology Faculty Fund Awards – Recipients of these Pioneer Awards Were Selected On The Basis Of Excellent Academic Performance And Promise In The Conduct Of Research In The Science Of Psychology. These Awards Are Made To Commemorate The Memory Of Dr. Elmer D. Hinckley And Those Other Earl Faculty Members Who Pioneered The Development Of The Department Of Psychology At The University Of Florida. The Department Was Established In 1930 By Dr. Hinckley And He Served As Its Chairman 1930-1957. It Was Under Dr. Hinckley’s Direction That The Department Granted Its First Ph.D. Degree To Justin E. Harlow In 1952.

Pioneer Psychology Faculty Fund Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion – In recognition of outstanding contributions to diversity, equity and inclusion in the science of psychology. This award is made to commemorate the memory of Dr. Elmer D. Hinckley and those other early faculty members who pioneered the development of the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida.

Robert A. & Phyllis Levitt Research Award – This Award Was Established By Robert A. Levitt And Phyllis Levitt. It Is Awarded Annually To A Graduate Student For Outstanding Achievements In Research in Psychology.

The Christopher Rubow Memorial Graduate Student Award – To recognize outstanding graduate students studying Applied Behavior Analysis with research interests in classroom management, parent training, or autism intervention.

The Christopher Rubow Memorial Undergraduate Student Award – To recognize outstanding undergraduate students studying Applied Behavior Analysis with research interests in classroom management, parent training, or autism intervention.

The David Robert Ferguson Memorial Award – This award honors David Robert Ferguso, a Universiyt of Florida Psychology major from metro Atlanta who passed away tragically in 2004, following the Florida-Georgia football game. The David Robert Ferguson Memorial Award is given annually to an academically outsanding University of Florida undergraduate Psychology major or graduate student.

The Doris Thames Staff Excellence Award – In memory of Doris Thames, the much beloved Psychology Department staff colleague who served as the Department’s accountant from March 4, 1977 until her death on July 30, 2001. This award recognizes outstanding service and exemplary contributions to the faculty, staff and students in the Department of Psychology.

The Gerber Behavior Analysis Research Award – This award is conferred annually upon a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology in recognition of outstanding merit in contributing to the area of Behavior Analysis

The Gerber Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience Psychology Research Award – This award is conferred annually upon a doctoral student in recognition of outstanding merit in contributing to the area of Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience.

The Gerber Developmental Psychology Research Award – This award is conferred annually upon a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology in recognition of outstanding merit in contributing to the area of Developmental Psychology.

The Gerber Social Psychology Outstanding Research Award – This award is conferred annually upon a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology in recognition of outstanding scholarship and exemplary research in the area of Social Psychology.

The Henry C. and Audrey S. Schumacher Fellowship Fund – This award recognizes outstanding doctoral dissertation work in the Department of Psychology.

The Outstanding Counseling Psychology Student Award – This award recognizes counseling psychology graduate students who demonstrate excellence in research and professional work.

The Ted Landsman Award in Counseling Psychology – This award is conferred annually upon a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology whose projects or initiatives promise to promote an understanding of, or contribution to positive human growth.

Thomas G. Pye Award – Awarded Annually To Outstanding University of Florida Undergraduate Psychology Majors for Their Pursuit of Careers in Mental Health Professions.

Trish Calvert Ring Graduate Research Awards – In recognition of the efforts of students whose research projects are expected to make a significant contribution to our understanding of the topic being studied and their respective areas of Psychology.

Trish Calvert Ring Dissertation Fellowship – This one-year Fellowship supports an outstanding doctoral student while they devote their time to their dissertation with the expectation that this work will make a significant contribution to our understanding of the Fellow’s field of research.
