DAAC’s 7th Women-to-Women Mentoring Luncheon Recap

The Diversity Awareness and Affirmation Committee (DAAC) and Dr. Carolyn Tucker hosted the 7th annual Women-to-Women Mentoring Luncheon on Thursday, February 15. The Luncheon allowed women graduate students and faculty from the Psychology Department to come together, support each other, and learn from each other about ways to overcome common barriers to professional goal attainment faced by many women. Students were able to openly ask questions to faculty and discussed issues regarding tenure and promotion, the challenges of being women faculty and women graduate students, and other career-related and personal concerns.
