Psychology Graduate and Undergraduate students and Faculty joined the Gainesville community in the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s (Co-captains: Dr. Susan Bluck, Joey Radice). Generous donations from faculty, students, friends and families made the team, ALL-IN, the third highest fundraiser in the city.
The team walked to honor family and friends living with dementia or who have passed. ALL-IN included walkers from Psychology’s Life Story Lab, Cognition & Aging Lab, and Language and Cognitive Development Lab as well as colleagues from the Graduate Linguistics Society, Sociology, and friends from the community.
Alzheimer’s Disease is fatal. There is no cure. Funds raised help advance research that will help prevent this progressive brain disorder. Visit our local Alzheimer’s Association at http://www.alz.org/cnfl/.
