spans three broad areas of psychology: Health decision making and health behavior (e.g., screening, sunscreen use), psychological threat management (e.g., how people prepare for and respond to bad news), and meta-science (studying the field of psychology). The majority of my research directly involves psychological threat management, and much of it occurs at the intersection of threat management and health decision making.
